I caved


While I'm not a fan of the PSL (pumpkin spice latte) craze, I finally caved and got a few autumnal touches.


A bit ironic as the temps soared into the 100s today. 


But I'm dreaming of crisp leaves and cool breezes.

    I shall not cave until after D's birthday. THEN it's autumn. I am hoarding acorns until then...

    Running the a/c even as I type. And what's truly horrifying is my sis saw Christmas decorations at Costco today. I could understand crafting/sewing projects, but full on yard decorations????

    So here's something to turn your stomach: in the Philippines they are dedicated to celebrating Christmas in all the "ber" months--September, October, November and December. I have already heard Christmas carols twice in shops. Not feelin' it.

      Wow. I'm used to rehearsing Christmas music by now, but it's just in the privacy of the choir room.
