I love both of these like you would not believe. I am all about editing some people/relationships and nailing that door closed after I usher them out (thinking about someone who gushed breathlessly about a favor that they knew I needed and would have LOVED to help, but just couldn't - and I realized I'd had that convo with them pretty much EVERY TIME I needed something - and I am just done. DONE).
I don't think it's an entirely bad idea to burn some bridges. If needed, one can swim the river or rebuild. But Basta!! Is a great Italian word to use.
