OMG~as my students would say. These are the most exquisite pears I've had. I was at Central Market looking at the red pears when the produce guy asked me if I had tried these. He sliced one open and I was hooked. Just had a tasty dinner of a bed of mixed greens, crumbles of bleu cheese, toasted pecans and these pears. DIVINE.
I am SO tracking those pears down this weekend. That salad sounds... well, "divine!"
ReplyDeleteSounds like my Mom's reaction to the Honeygold apples a few years back. Those things are EXPENSIVE, yet she springs for a few every time. I'll have to see if these have hit our markets here yet. So far, I've had the usual Boscs this season.
