A 6th grader who likes to hang out in the choir room during lunch (he's not my official student). He's so good that he actually has a band playing in the ACL festival this season. (We will draw a veil over what the combo of ACL and a UT home game does to traffic in this teeny town.)
This didn't turn out as arty as I wanted, but it was a gorgeous moment in yesterday's ideal afternoon sunshine.
So 6th grade is not Middle School there? I thought you were teaching Middle School. I realize it's a different combo in various school districts. Carry on - you are doing something right - probably a lot of some things!
ReplyDeleteI am teaching middle school, but we're on trimester rotations, so I only have a third of each grade at a time.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous bike. I want to a.) move somewhere I can ride again, b.) move somewhere it isn't so hot that I arrive looking like I've been dragged backwards through a hedge, c.) move somewhere people actually RIDE, d.) move.
ReplyDeleteHm. Somehow that ended up having nothing to do with the bike. Moving on...(and I think it's a fine shot, btw. Pictures never turn out as beautifully as mere sight).
I do not envy you football and ACL all at once. Do. Not.
Ah, drummers. Remember Kent Rathbun? I wonder whatever happened to him.
