crunch, crunch

Finally deemed it cool enough to wear boots for the first time and I kinda found some leaves to step on.

Don't know why it's taken me so long to try to make chilequiles, but here is my first attempt. Didn't have the right kind of cheese, but they're still tasty.

  1. I've not seen chilequiles where the eggs are so easily identifiable (in Mexico City they soft scrambled them and somehow hid them under the tortillas) but that looks really tasty - "wrong" cheese notwithstanding. Go, you.

    1. In Texas, the eggs are always over easy~which this Yankee refuses to eat~I want my chicken in solid form. :)

They were delish! I look forward to growing my own tomatillas some day to make the sauce from scratch.
