If it would just rain properly, I was going to seed the hill down from our house with wildflowers this year (and then get a respirator, because, ALLERGIES). I love those little blue things, even though I think I've only ever seen real ones in Alaska.
Never really consider that wildflowers have pollen~think of them as benign in the world of allergens. We're having a tough year for this local thing called 'cedar fever' which decimates the city.
For-get-me-nots. One of my mother's favorite flowers. Nearly always had a patch of them around their home at Willamina.

Wish I could grow them here, but it may be too hot. Although, there are a ton of wildflowers in the spring. Huh. Have to try this spring.
