This week has felt like an avalanche~hanging on to those little glimmers that carry us all through. Sweet student gifted me with a yummy strawberry at lunch.
And as I actually made it home prior to the sunset, got to go on a lovely long walk around the lake. Happy sunning turtles!
I saw green lacewing - or, chrysopidae, as they're properly called - on the slider the other night, and I was shocked. I explained to them that it was February, and not, you know, Spring.

I tried explaining that although it had reached the 70s a couple of times, we're headed right back to cold days & they might want to burrow (is that what they do in winter?) A little longer.
