gather ye something

So deeply relieved to see the backside of this week.  Happy to report that nothing got broken on this move and that I'm enjoying walking around the city.  Enjoyed the traditional Free Thursday that most national museums offer and got to stare at my room o' pennies for a bit.

The glories of the scent of warm roses in the June sunshine.  Little blessings.

  1. Solomon got some things right: "Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof." That applies to moving, which is on my mind and that of our sons currently. Congratulations on the little joys.

  2. We're having the loveliest, breeziest sunny days in the low seventies. Bare legs and short sleeves feel a little like we need cardigans. We're getting a late Spring at the beginning of summer - which is blissful. Means I can bake today - some lemon scones coming later on.

Mainly, though, it means a comfy nap in a lawn chair. Yaaaaaaawn. Sad that it's noon and I want to go back to bed.

    1. We're having heavy New Jersey style air right now. Waiting for the dry heat to arrive~much less enervating.
