burning question du jour

Yes.  I have Googled it, but I still have no satisfactory answer as to why freezers don't have lights.  Perhaps it is only because I've experienced the cheap appliances that come with rentals, but I am still curious as to why the top freezers are unlit.  HOW are we supposed to forage for foods in the middle of the night?

  1. Good question. Ice cream cartons are recognizable by their shape, eh?

    1. Good point! And that's really what we're seeking.

  2. We bought a new fridge with a drawer below - still not lit. Dunno why; apparently we're supposed to feel around for the ice?

    1. Bizarre. Guess light bulbs only work in side/side units?
