Bittersweet


The hardest part of being a teacher is watching students leave.  Of course, we're ultra-proud and love to hear how their lives unfold.  But~at that liminal moment when they walk out of our classrooms?  It's sniffle time.

    I wonder how long it will be until she looks back on this picture and loathes it. Probably senior year?

    I'm always intrigued by how we see ourselves and our teachers as time passes...

      She pretty much won every award possible & got cast (as a freshman) in the musical at her high school; so, am thinking she's too involved to care.
