  1. Goodness, that is flaky. I've found that baking with coconut oil - that solid stuff - is about as good as Crisco. Coconut oil and butter makes an amazing piecrust.

    1. These are from Trader's freezer & they are amazing! And, you have to proof them for 12 hours, so they're not a binge food!

  2. Serendipity - Lowell decided to try piecrust with solid coconut oil with some butter. His mom and mine used Crisco. We're happy with the results.
