Love the openness/friendliness of Austin in general, and the accessibility of musicians~where else would the band leader meander around the crowd during a break and shake hands and mingle with the audience?

ReplyDeleteEh, Portland? Seattle? I think it has more to do with the size of the venue and the folksiness of the performer than the state, but yeah. Sounds like it was fun.
I have POTS for tomatoes now, but... no tomatoes yet. Nor blooms. I am feeling fairly smug that my poppies are tiny green fuzz above the earth. It's still so cool here. (Today.)
Pots are an excellent thing! Have friends who are watching their seedlings drown and droop in Seattle as they have no pots. :(
