While I am not Jewish, I am happy to embrace any holiday involving candles and/or good food. While at the Mediterranean market yesterday--getting that delish feta for my broccoli--I decided that some pistachio baklava would serve nicely as unleavened bread.
Mmm..layers of butter and honey. Ain't nottin wrong with that!
ReplyDeleteThey were out of my favorite peach kind, but yeah. Butter/pastry is a hard combo to beat for tastiness!
