Chag Sameach


Chag Sameach (KHAHG sah-MEHY-ahkh) Hebrew. Literally, joyous festival.  

While I am not Jewish, I am happy to embrace any holiday involving candles and/or good food.  While at the Mediterranean market yesterday--getting that delish feta for my broccoli--I decided that some pistachio baklava would serve nicely as unleavened bread.

    1. They were out of my favorite peach kind, but yeah. Butter/pastry is a hard combo to beat for tastiness!
