And in Texas? That train comes with a delicious brunch.
Introduced an Aussie friend to the American concoction of root beer floats. While it was enjoyed, it will probably not be on the menu again anytime soon.
HAHAHAHAH. Isn't it funny - British and Commonwealth people and root beer... does. not. mix. We did floats two Easters ago, and everybody loved them, but we used less sweet rootbeer - diet - and it helped. The concoction is just too sweet for most of our friends, which is ironic, since ...hello, Irn Bru? Tablet? Fudge? These people eat sugar. Dunno... they like their beer bitter and their biscuits sweet, but sweet drinks are just right oot, I guess.

ReplyDeleteI know! The entire isle of UK is awash with sugar. I used some root beer from Trader's so it was quite nice.
