the happy of petals


While on yet another neighborhood hike, a lovely homeless man handed me this rose.


And a lovely non-homeless friend handed me these joyous blossoms to grace my new digs.

    LOVE that vase.
    I have only ever had homeless boys hand me roses made out of palm fronds (street kids in Santa Barbara, natch). I think I'm jealous.

      Which one? The pottery one is from Mexico/San Diego and the little blue one I've had so long that I don't actually remember its origin.
