While I shun Black Friday and anything that smacks of commerce, I celebrate the Buy Local idea and have obtained a couple of local Christmas gifts. Hard to grasp that it's close to 80 and I'm wearing shorts to shop!

Nice, Laurie! Wouldn't I enjoy 80-deg. weather right now. We have four inches of snow, a cold wind, and down to the teens at night. It's not as bad as northern Canada or the US Midwest - but I so wish we could be in this beautiful place near family but with more days of warm sunshine. I too shun Black Friday but support "buy local"!

ReplyDeleteYesterday's fun project was swapping out buttons - need to do that with a couple more cardigans. Enjoying my knit tights. I know the cool won't last but it's nice while it's here... maybe you could go thrifting for cardigans and fun sweaters now, since they'll be cheap!
