Bouchon debut

While I didn't get all precious with the water misting, I did delve into my new cookbook and created some eclairs for the very pregnant doyenne of the household.

Ummmm, custard.  We won't be divulging exactly how many eggs went into this recipe.

Loved these USA pans~one of my sis's bday gifts.  (She's lucky they wouldn't fit in my suitcase.)

What?  You thought there'd be a Virginia posting without gratuitous cuteness??

    1. Ha ha! (The savory ones didn't turn out as well~the dough was runny for some reason.)

  2. Hahaha - "doyenne" and "cuteness" and "very pregnant" and "custard" - they are all good!

  3. Aw, I haven't made anything like that since high school. So much work for a quick bite, but always worth it, especially if someone else makes them.
