I know this is supposed to be about Joy, but it's tough to find it some days. Watching posts from friends in the Napa/Sonoma region as fire sweeps through their lives. It seems as though half the world is drowning and the other half is burning. And I won't even touch on the insanity of politics at present.
Grateful that the sun has returned after a rainy weekend~tomorrow calls for a very long walk. My bio and photo are being edited for the school's website~here's hoping the students begin to pour in this week.
I frequently remind myself that humanity has a short attention span -- this has come before, this will come again, this, too, will pass. It's the daily mantra.
