Teeny daffs showed up this week and I realized that the daylight is lingering later. I follow a local amatuer meterologist and he's quite offended that we didn't really have winter this year. There's been plenty of cold and grey and I, for one, am ready for sunnier days.
We're on our third atmospheric river and the wind is whistling as the rain falls... but my paperwhites started coming up weeks ago, so who can tell what's going on. Meanwhile, it's 100°F in Wisconsin. I kid you not. And there are constant snowstorms in Illinois. The weather has lost the plot.
