Despite the dreck of a musical that's assigned, it's been a lovely day. Have 28 awesome little singers~the best batch of the summer. Went for a sunny hike after work and....arrived home to find that my bookcase had finally arrived.
And despite the instructions in Swahili and it saying it was a two-person job,
I am pleased to show my handy work!
It took about 5 minutes to fill. And now I need at least one more! Yay books.
I am hopeful that after our shelves from Freecycle we'll never need any new ones - because they're SO HUGE, but honestly, books... kind of creep up on you...
ReplyDeleteYou'd think by now, I'd know at least one person in Texas with a pick-up~then I could get stuff from Freecycle.
DeleteJosh has the same bookcase in his room. Probably different reading material on the shelves though!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to both comparing our books and helping to fill his shelves!
DeleteCongratulations on your foreign-language and mechanical-engineering skills. Never could figure out why manuals are generic and written by people for whom English is about the tenth language!
ReplyDeleteI like the bookshelves. I could use another set somewhere in my house, but I'm not sure where I would put it!
ReplyDeleteGlad you have a great group of kids to work with.
