mind the gap

As I enjoyed my city jaunt this weekend, I was thinking that it's beginning to feel as though holidays/trips aren't worth the jolt of coming back to whatever is considered 'real life'.  Or. Perhaps a better use of thoughts and energy to create a way of living so there isn't such a violent gap between time off and time on.

  1. Yeah, D's answer to the various confusions of life right now is to take off for Scotland, and I'm digging in my heels. Going and not being able to stay -- is just sort of unspeakable right now. In a half-packed house, with no idea what we're supposed to do next - a vacation is NOT in the plans, even though it would be easy right now...

    1. A nap improves everything. That remains consistent.
