On this dreary, slushy day~the bus driver was wearing a pair of snazzy patent leather shoes. It was busy enough so I didn't ask if I could take an actual photo of him. What a fun touch to a mundane job! (and we'll just draw a veil over me taking the wrong bus because it was in the correct bay....and taking an extra HOUR to get home while sopping wet/freezing and just the slightest bit hangry.)
Grateful this week is o'er.
Must have been a bummer week that patent leather shoes on a bus driver could brighten your trip. I doubt I could navigate the intricacies of commuter travel now. It would be easy to get on the wrong one. As an 8 y/o in Calgary, Alberta, I had to take public transportation and transfer once. There were times I didn't get off at the right place and had to ride the whole circuit and was late for school.

ReplyDeleteI simply enjoyed the flair he displayed~driving the Friday evening commuter shift must be one of the worse shifts~add in the icky weather~and I commend him for brightening everyone's evening.
DeleteDidn't mean to delete everything - just the duplicate. Actually I can see the sparkle of shiny patent leather on a dreary commute!
