Haven't gone to the movie much lately, but on a whim I went to the first showing of Gravity. It was fun to be at the movies at 10 p.m. and this movie is visually stunning. And one that needs to be seen on a large screen.
And now that NASA's shut down, it may the only glimpse of space we get this year.
::sigh::
ReplyDeleteYes, I realized yesterday that the Rover date is going to go by, and they'll have lost the window for the Mars launch. While on one hand, that makes me incredibly, incredibly sad, on the other hand, politicizing the space program is why it's miles behind schedule. Maybe private hands are best; it's working for the SpaceX people, and the guys in Copenhagen.
If space programs are private, do only the uber-wealthy get to participate?
