in the details

A jaunt to a local Goodwill yielded this brocade Ann Taylor skirt.  Needs a quick ironing and then it's ready to roll into November.

And I figure that I cannot live in cowboy country without having a hint of rhinestones.

  1. Nice! I've had good luck at Goodwill - your shirt and skirt look casually elegant.

    1. I was very good and stayed out of the book section! Am really trying to keep my library under control this year.

    1. Almost wore it today, but it wasn't ironed yet. Glad that I didn't as it would have been ruined in the torrential downpours.

  3. Ooh, love those pleats - I can't wear box pleats, or any pleats, really, but those are quite the knife-edge of stylish. :)

    1. I normally avoid pleats and plackets (good name for a band, as Dave Barry would say!), but these are low in the skirt and in-set, so they don't add bulk.
