Just read one of those ubiquitous "things to do in your city" lists and it said to watch the sunrise on Mt. Bonnell. I've seen the sun set there (as the park mainly faces west), but not the rising of.
It was exquisite~all bird chirping and cicadas whirring. There were also mosquitoes and chatty morning people for a well-rounded experience.
Lovely, though I rather like the pictures of the light through the trees better than the light over the city. I suppose one has to do all the touristy things in an area so that one can say they've really lived there. And now, that's done. You've seen the bats. You've seen the sunrise. You can two-step. What's left?
ReplyDeleteOwning a pair of cowboy boots!
DeleteYou don't have to live in Texas to wear cowboy boots. My DIL Laura wears them regularly (though not for musical events).
