navigating

Nothing like a homemade bowl of squash soup to make it feel like autumn.

Spent a quiet day running errands and trying to not get lost in the meandering streets of suburbia. Kitchen is stocked and I now have a new library card. While the space is vibrant, I think I have more books in my home than this particular branch.

And now I think I've earned a nap.

  1. Helpful, that interlibrary loan, is it not? We have two tiny branches near us, and I very rarely just go and poke around - I use it for deliveries, mostly. Of course, my bookish people are always recommending things so I have tons of things to look for, and look forward to, and then, when the mood strikes, our teensy branch is big enough to just take a wander through and pick up Random Reads.

    1. Yes, and it's handily next to a Dollar Store~so it will be easy to combine errands.

I still have my Fairfax Co. card and online access, so it's good.

    1. Yes, eating it while running the a/c and fans wasn't quite the same as a cool cosy day!
