Forgot to mention that we got free Ghiradelli samples last night as we walked back to the metro.
This little fringe-haired dude walked quite a ways with me this morning.
Then he stopped to chat with a gull.
I was a nanosecond too late to capture the bee that was frolicking in this blossom.
These little polka-dotted guys amuse me.
Every morning I look out the back window and those ungainly birds are flapping about, up and down the bit of slough I can see. It's insane how wide their wingspan is, and they just untidily drag their legs along... I sing to myself, "the Lord God made them all," and snicker. All things slow and random, all creatures, awkward, klutz...
