Penzey's for the win


Dropped by Penzey's today~am addicted to their air-dried shallots (sprinkle those on eggs with the paprika and your breakfasts will be transformed!) Turns out that they're doing another gift~so came home with a large bottle of Parisian herbs to try.

  2. I'm still just gobsmacked that Penzey's is not at all in my bandwidth, it must just be an E.Coast thing, but then, I'd expect my Noo Yawker friends to be all about it like they are Wegman's. (Maybe they're so poncy they only use fresh herbs...?) Anyway, this sounds yummy - I have used freeze-dried chives but now am on the lookout for shallots, as I've only ever seen them fresh...
