Am rather thrilled that I snagged a ticket to hear Sir Paul when he comes to Austin next month. Every once in awhile it hits me that I am going to see/hear one of THE BEATLES.
It's a nice glimmer in this rather bleak week of bombs & blasts & local tragedies.
A glimmer is always nice - you aren't too far from the explosion at the fertilizer plant - and Boston is familiar to you (as to us from visiting a couple of times and doing the walking tour in my younger life). Glad you have this special treat ahead.

DeleteAt the Olympic opening ceremonies, we all chuckled at how he totally rocked out with people generations - generations younger. I swear it's because he's a vegetarian. ☺

I know! He's 70. Seventy and touring the world. Amazing. I was pretty impressed with 50-year-old Bon Jovi singing for three hours straight as well.
