Interviewing this afternoon~here's my hope and prayer that it's a good fit. |
Off to Atlanta~wish I had more time to explore on my route as I'm going through Mississippi and Alabama and Georgia for the first time ever.
(I've never had a beignet in my life, funny thing. Not that I miss it... I think a doughnut's pretty much a doughnut, but it still strikes me as funny - my mother was born a half hour from New Orleans, and I visited every summer as a child, but... my protovegan mother wonders what the pastry is fried IN, at all times, so none for me. Ah, well.)

Hush. There are many levels of pastry quality & these are among the best~the only sweetness is from the powdered sugar (which I'm still wearing a portion of.
