the respite of music and twilight


Don't know if I've ever enjoyed a piano lesson more than yesterday's.  (It helps that this student and I share a birthday~we have formed a mutual admiration club.)





Breathing.


And figuring out the next step/road/chapter.

    What a lovely twilight.
    VA is so green... but so weirdly flat. It must be odd not to see mountains. Still - it seems a good place to breathe, no?

      There are some hills~but away from the river flats. SO thrilled that today is the end of trimester one.
