After a rather dismal week on myriad levels, (Kate Spade AND Anthony Bourdain??), it was a delight to see the season's first fireflies tonight!! Another memory I will tuck in my pocket forever is that of my sweet three-year-old niece "reading" a bedtime story to me.
These glimmers of magic carry us onwards.
Just got a note from my friend Charlotte, whose eldest graduated high school this weekend... he's the one who first showed me fireflies at their grandma's in VA... when he was eleven.

They're are magical!! Twilight has always been my favorite time of day & now it's more so!
