Even with all the travel, upheavals, and moving~I managed to complete one solid year of daily French lessons!!!! I think I'll get myself a trophy.
The roses are enjoying this heavy humidity about as much as I am. At least their hair looks better.
And that's my ten cents for the day.
I think the daily lessons I never managed with French, but I also did fifteen minute a day... I'm trying to lower expectations with doing 5 minutes of Dutch, but going the extra mile and doing extra lessons when I can. I am also watching a video series with a guy doing pronunciation. I am hopeful that it will further me more than my little online lessons, which, like most video games, make me antsy!! We have speed drills!!

DeleteTold you D. has suddenly ...I don't know, his hair has just really changed, possibly because of his silver hairs? Not that he hasn't had a silver streak since he was a teen, but his Old Dude hair is REALLY wiry and... curly. Suddenly, L, his hair is super wavy - long or short, and the shorter I cut it? The curlier it gets! He is at a total loss, and since we're here near Milpitas, the Bay is JUST right there, so we've more humidity. You should have seen him in Philly - his hair was about two feet out from either side of his head, if he didn't pull it back. It's crazy. What does one DO!?
It's been excellent~I feel like my reading and vocab skills are solid. Now, to practice conversation.
