It's August that is bustin' out all over. These are the blooms that I saw in a twenty minute walk through my 'hood this morning. Bring on the heat and sunshine!
Wish you could smell sun-warmed rosemary~makes me want some olive oil and delicious sourdough bread.
I'm so envious of your sunshine Lowell has threatened to ship me out to Texas! Wouldn't leave the beautiful (though 2/3 gray and drippy) PNW though I wish the warmth and Vitamin D season could start earlier in the year and last longer into the fall. Safe travels as you celebrate your youngest nephew's very first birthday - glad you can do that. Beautiful pictures BTW!
ReplyDeleteYou would certainly get enough Vitamin D here!
DeleteFriends of ours in Largs, Scotland, have bought a house in Spain... and, oh, the joy of sunshine. It has changed them. It has changed you, too...
ReplyDeleteIt does~at a molecular level. There's something to be said/lived about warmth and light.
