The new job provides two of my greatest pleasures~that of driving with the windows down in the evening and that of driving very fast. I generally finish around 8 and the August twilights are just lovely.
And bonus points for working odd hours and not dealing with traffic!
Well, people in Seattle get tired of the 60 mph limit and actually do drive 75 mph - dodging back and forth between cars and lanes. I love to drive fast, but getting a ticket deters me. Glad you have some bonuses where you live!
ReplyDeleteSeattle drivers are a special brand of crazy. And we're pretty safe in going 10 miles over around here before the cops get interested.

Travis County has the dubious honor of having the worst DUI incidents in the nation. So, yeah, speeding is a fairly benign activity~it's the slow, lurchy ones that the cops nail.
