gratitudes five

  1. It's 37 degrees and POURING.  V. grateful that this is an anomaly and not the usual climate in which I now live.
  2. My current job has no stupid crosswalk duty.
  3. Despite the wild winds I still have power and am able to run the heat and have a hot dinner.
  4. Childhood memories.
  5. My baby sister's birthday.

And as it's the end of the week, I'll add an extra~thanks for the charming men which she has added to our life/family.

  1. First of all I second your thanks for Dave and Josh - and congratulations to the birthday girl (always wanted a sister). Second - glad for your climate anomalies and normals. Appreciate the ways you find things to be thankful for - and enjoy the great pictures.

    1. Thank you! Am reading an excellent book right now and the best line in it is: 'Happiness is smaller than we think.'

      My new motto.

  2. Baby sister? I'm in my 30s and that's what I get called? :)
