  1. for the miracle of phyllo dough & how it retains crispiness even while drenched in honey
  2. for beautiful little dishes passed down from my grandmother

    I don't even ATTEMPT baklava; there's a lovely Persian woman at our church who totally makes it whenever I ask - so I rarely ask, because she's dangerous. But, that looks so tidy and yummy!
