Yesterday I had this whole conversation with my sister on what I thought presumption was, vs. faith... this she asks as she's going to put in her notice at her job -- even though she hasn't got another job lined up. She just knows it's been a job giving her super stress for years...
I think more than hope is needed -- faith and courage, perhaps. Courage is acknowledging the need, faith is the wherewithal to move on it right now.

There's faith & then there's delusion. With three months of job hunting to my name, I would caution her to have something lined up first.
