ReplyDeleteMy cousin's daughter couldn't pronounce Maurice when she was little. And they think the new name is hilarious because it sounds like a tough name & the cat is SO jumpy & skittering.
Delete...okay, so she couldn't pronounce MAURICE, but could pronounce JUAREZ!? I snicker. (Of course, looking at Juarez and trying to read it when you're little is much harder than just saying Wah-rez.)
