I was reading a New Yorker bewailing saying farewell for the season to her big hoops, and I was like, ??? I guess the dangling ones not only get tangled but also transmit COLD to the earlobe and thus to the head, in snowy climes.
ReplyDeleteWHO KNEW??? said the Californian who never let a little rain stop her wearing dangling earrings. We're meant to have Atmospheric Rivers and a Pineapple Express this year, though, and I've already gotten into wearing more tichels out in public but wrapping your hair entirely necessitates huge earrings, does it not??? Ah, well. My head will be warm, my ears, cold.
Add long curly hair that is down so a hat can be worn & earrings disappear like mad.
