kitchen adventures

Since vegetarian empanadas aren't common on the east coast AND I just received a small press, decided to use my morning off to experiment.

I look forward to trying again in a real oven (baking several small batches is tedious) and I need to replace my pastry brush~dripping egg wash with a fork isn't too pretty! But, now I have tasty lunches for the week.

And.

And.

It's my LAST commute to Bethesda today. Wheeeeeee. I will not miss the traffic nor the rutted country roads.

  1. What did you fill them with? Why not the commute anymore?
