I've never been able to figure out the flavor of saffron - in rice, it's just... yellow. Which tells me I'm not getting it fresh enough, or putting in enough, or something.This weekend I had soursop sorbet, and I am now addicted.
It really is floral when it's that fresh.
I'm not sure frozen flowers will ever make my shopping list, but sounds interesting...
Yeah~it was interesting to taste and a couple of spoonfuls after a spicy meal would be good. It was a little strange to be eating something that tasted like lotion/soap~not unpleasant, just unusual.
